3 Non Boring Study Habits

Studying isn’t something you want to shout “yes, I get to do this!” from the rooftops…

It’s boring, you have to learn a lot of information you probably won’t use in a month from now (let alone a year from now or in the actual work place) and it takes a lot of time out of your already busy schedule to do it. However, at the end of the day, if you want to pass your classes you’ve gotta do it.

To keep it “non-boring,” here are 3 simple (yet effective) tips to follow during your next study session.

3 NON-BORING STUDY SESSION HABITS:

#1: Do a set of jumping jacks or push ups in between chapters. Keeping your adrenaline up will help fight off the zzz’s, giving you the energy you need to stay focused.

#2: Drink up… Seriously, drink a glass of water every hour. It’ll make you have to get up and go pee, which will help with blood circulation by forcing you to get on your feet (plus, it gives you a chance to take a mini break).

#3: If you’re a sweet tooth champion like most students, try the AWAKE Chocolate snack option instead of splurging on a RedBull or RockStar. One bar is packed with just as much caffeine as a cup of coffee or energy drink (approximately 250ml).

As a Dorm Room Movers author, feel free to leave any additional ‘non-boring’ study habits…I’m sure there are a lot more than 3 ;0)

Good luck hitting the books,

Miki
