Apps to use for spring break traveling

Now that Spring break has sprung, it’s traveling time. Below, we’ve listed a few of our favorite apps to use when traveling during your academic hiatus. The best part is, they are all free to download!

Hopper for how to get there:

There are a ton of apps for helping you find a flight, but Hopper hits it out of the park. It provides predictions on future pricing for your ideal date(s). The app also advises the user whether their date is anticipated to go up or down in price or if it’s likely to stay at that price (and for how long!).

Airbnb for where to stay:

Sure, there are a plethora of hotel and motel apps out there, but they can get a little pricey. if you’re looking for something adventurous and affordable this spring break, Airbnb is the winner in our book. It’s got incredibly diverse lodging options. For a more traditional trip, it has home’s and apartments available. For a more eccentric excursion, it has boats and even tree houses.

Instagram for capturing it all:

Pics or it didn’t happen, right? Right. At this point, there is a social media platform for everyone and everything. Our top choice for photography is Instagram. This app is all about visual communication and socializing. You can tag your location and your friends, and you can also get creative with awesome options available in Instagrams “Stories” feature.

However you get there and wherever you stay, we hope your time is unforgettable!
