CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATES

Calling (f)all graduates! This one’s for you!

We’d like to take a moment to congratulate anyone graduating this Fall, 2019.

Traditionally, the majority of students attending a four year college end up graduating in the springtime at the end of their eighth semester. However, there is a significant amount of students that end up graduating during the fall. This happens due to a variety of reasons – perhaps a student changes their major or maybe they decide to take on a double major. Both scenarios would inevitably detain the graduation train.

Regardless of the reason for your Fall, you should be tremendously proud of yourself for your accomplishments! With that being said, you might find yourself wondering how to transition smoothly out of college and seamlessly into the real world.

Not to worry – this feeling is completely normal. Frankly, we’d be a bit concerned if you didn’t find yourself thinking about your future as a college graduate. The good news is, you are not lost – not truly. Your education has taught you more than just academics – you’ve been schooled in ambition and perseverance, too. All of this studying and hard work has laid the foundation for who you are going to become, which will be the person you were meant to be all along.

We will leave you with this quote by the fabulous Jodi Foster –

“There is nothing more beautiful than finding your course as you believe you bob aimlessly in the current. Wouldn’t you know that your path was there all along, waiting for you to knock, waiting for you to become. This path does not belong to your parents, your teachers, your leaders, or your lovers. Your path is your character defining itself more and more everyday like a photograph coming into focus.”
